I love the fact that when Mercury Records picked up the album for broader distribution, a color-tint or ink error during the manufacturing process shifted the red into a magenta or hot pink hue. Enduring Legacy: Despite being an accident, the pink variation became the universally recognized version for decades until later reissues finally restored the intended red.
