Rush's first studio recording of original material in nearly five years. The album was recorded in the fall of 2006 with Grammy Award-winner Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver) and Rush co-producing. Geddy Lee recently said, "It's hard to describe. It's big, it's bold, and I think it's some of the best work we've done in years. I'm really pleased with the quality of the songs, and there's lots of playing on it."
"Lots of playing" means lots of fun for the fans. It also means plenty of ripping guitar solos from Alex Lifeson, and plenty of new material for thousands of air drummers from Neil Peart. The next best thing to hearing this new recording is to hear it live when Rush tours across the world starting on June 13, 2007.
