Over Rush’s long 45+ year history, they played everywhere from “drop-ins” in suburban Toronto to the largest stadiums across the world. Along the way, many bar owners, local newspapers, club designers, and large entertainment conglomerates advertised these shows, these “gigs”- in magazines and marquees and myriad other places.
Within these pages, you’ll learn about the first time Neil Peart ever took the stage with Rush, how Santa Claus (!) opened for Rush, and just how extensive their touring really was. You’ll see ads and gig posters promoting everything from Rush’s first concert in America to the largest crowd they ever played (a benefit show in Toronto) to their final act, at the fabled Forum in Los Angeles. A must for fans of one of the most storied rock acts of all time, Rush.

Very nice book! While only a small selection of gigs are covered (out of necessity), the images are outstanding. The design, layout, and overall look & feel of the book all are great.

I love the Rush Gig Book. It was great to see the poster from the first Rush concert I attended in 1978, as well as the poster from their first show and their last show. I recommend for any Rush fan.

Love the book. Brought so many memories. I have seen the boys 102 times (yep but who is counting). I also love the size of the book and the details in the pictures. Awesome stuff would recommend this to any Rush Fan. Wait who isn't?

As usual from Rush, a high quality design and impressive book. Like a trip through memory lane, but nothing I would look at again and again. Most of the posters, playbills don't fill the page, and there is little info to accompany them. It would have been nice to include some info text, quotes, etc. But still, all Rush, and you can never go wrong with that. I recommend it for the die-hard fan (which is pretty much anyone reading this review).

Great addition to my Rush collection (and my Rush tourbooks) A perfect overview of Rush concert posters through the years. On a personal note, I'm glad they added the Montreal concert (1984). Highly recommend!

My brother and I have been Rush fans going back to 1977. It is so awesome to see these posters again, a number for the first time, and OWN my copy of them. A hard cover would have been nice but I am so happy to have a copy! It is one of my favorite books already. I wish I could see Rush one more time and say thanks for all the albums and concerts. This book is a great reminder of the “good times had.” Thanks to the families for loaning these guys out to us!

Really 3-1/2 stars. This is a pretty bichin book, but the text could have had more details than it did. I would liked to have known who designed the posters, who the artist was, etc. There are pages with tickets on them, but no writing. Some match the posters and some don't. A hardcover would have been nice as well. But, if you're a fan, this is a cool book to have!

This book is very nice.... but it doesn't tell me anything new or different about my favorite band "RUSH". I've looked through it but will probably not look at it again. Way too much money for someone's play bill collection. Wish it could have been a library book.

An enjoyable trip. It's great to see all of these posters, some for the first time and some for shows that I went to. Full of history and interesting bits.
