Chris HarrodJanuary 1, 2025This is an outstanding book from an admired bassist. I was a bit surprised though that he did not highlight Leo Fender’s work at G&L. There he refined his earlier designs including the development of the magnetic field design (MFD) pickup and tritone circuitry. In particular, the L-1000 bass should be included in his collection.

CathyMay 10, 2023Every bassist should own this book! In fact, anyone interested in music and/or musical instruments would love it too. I purchased this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. So many amazing photos and a fun, interesting read as well. It will always have a special place in our home. We have also purchased this as a gift for a friend, because it is truly that cool! Buy it...you won't regret it! Highly recommend.
